Who We Are

Autism Pensacola is a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers resources, programs, and services to children and families affected by autism in the Gulf Coast area. Our reach spans a five-county area: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties in Florida, and Baldwin County, Alabama.

What We Do

Autism Pensacola is the premiere source of autism resources and information and helps families through the maze of services available to them. From pre-diagnosis all the way to transitioning into adulthood, one call to Autism Pensacola will connect families to a whole world of therapies, healthcare providers, diagnosticians, estate planners, adult services, education, financial advisors, and more. 

Some of the programs offered are:

  • Kids for Camp (5-week summer camp just for kiddos with autism)
  • Project Lifesaver (safety program that outfits a child who wanders with transmitter bracelets that aid with location of the child)
  • Holiday Gift Card Assistance (distribution of gift cards to qualifying families during the holidays to help with expenses)
  • Respite Care Opportunities
  • Community Outreach Events (Family Picnics, Trunk or Treat, Sensory Santa)
  • Sensory Street (free family community event that offers a glimpse into the world of autism)
  • Social Opportunities (Game Night, Adult Cooking Classes, Fun with Friends)
  • Support Groups
