The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is an IRS initiative that provides free, reliable tax preparation for hardworking individuals and families. United Way of West Florida partners with the IRS to lead this work across Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.
Join us for our in-person Site Coordinator Training as we prepare for the upcoming VITA tax season. This training session is designed to empower site coordinators with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to lead successful sites that reflect the accuracy, compassion, and professionalism of United Way of West Florida's VITA program.
The training will cover:
- The role of the Site Coordinator and key leadership expectations.
- IRS Quality Site Requirements (QSRs) and compliance best practices.
- Volunteer management and site setup
- Real-world scenarios and group discussion to build confidence in leading your team.
- Resources and support provided by United Way of West Florida throughout the season.
Please note this session will take place in person, hands-on participation and peer collaboration are central to the training experience.
