Warrington Elementary School's Poetic Treasures

Warrington Elementary is hosting a school wide read aloud event featuring poetry.  Volunteers will read the provided book (featuring poetry) to the students, then assist the teacher in leading the students through completion of an age appropriate poetry task.  All volunteers will work with students inside classrooms and should be comfortable around children between the ages of 4 through eleven.  In years past, volunteers have preferred to work in pairs.  We will need eight to sixteen volunteers in order to work within the time constraints of our bell schedule.  Comfortable business casual is our building dress code, and we will have water and snacks available for our guests.  There is vending available on site but it is EXTREMELY limited. Warrington Elementary School will provide everything necessary for volunteers to have a successful and impactful experience.
