Are you interested in contributing to a training event, making a difference, and having a great time?
We are seeking volunteers to act as victims in a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training simulation. By becoming a disaster actor, you will provide a valuable service by helping to test the readiness of local emergency response teams during simulated disasters and other crisis scenarios.
As a disaster actor, you will help create realistic crisis situations for our CERT trainees, allowing them to test their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. You may participate in simulations such as medical and rescue drills, responding to both natural and man-made disasters. Volunteers will be asked to portray injured, ill, or distressed victims, with some actors using makeup to simulate real wounds and injuries.
If you are interested in becoming a disaster actor for your local Community Emergency Response Team, sign up today to get involved.
