Santa Rosa Bridges

We at Santa Rosa Bridges out of Poverty are a group of dedicated volunteers working to eliminate poverty in our community.  We use various strategies to move our mission forward.  Currently we have 2 strategies with a third coming in the fall. 1. We provide Getting Ahead in a Just Getting By World classes in both the north and south end of Santa Rosa County.  These classes help families and individuals move from their sometimes very chaotic environment to a more stable place in life by using a concrete plan that is developed during the 15 week class.  2. We provide families entering the Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) program with basic furnishings that are donated by individuals, churches and businesses'.  

We are currently working on updating our Poverty Simulation kit - which is a great experiential activity used to help educate our community on what it feels like to live in poverty here in santa rosa county.  we hope to have this update by fall 2021.
