Who We Are
The Inclusive Education Alliance (IEA) is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for families with children facing learning disabilities. Our mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of their learning or economic challenges, has the opportunity to succeed in life. We aim to come alongside families of children with learning disabilities through education and support systems that will empower them and help their children thrive. As a startup organization, our primary focus is to provide education and support to families dealing with children who struggle to learn. Our programs are designed to foster collaboration, communication, education, and support. We work closely with families, offering guidance on coping strategies, advocating for their child, and providing support in various forms.
What We Do
Support Groups: These groups provide a platform for individuals to share personal experiences, coping strategies, and first-hand information. They create a supportive community that understands the challenges faced by families dealing with learning disabilities. Parent and Child Night Outs: We organize events where parents and children can relax, relieve stress, and connect with others facing similar situations. These gatherings help build friendships and create a support network within the community. Scholarships: We offer financial assistance to families to alleviate the high costs associated with tutoring and therapies. These scholarships aim to ensure that children receive the necessary support to overcome their learning challenges. The local AFCEA Chapter offers STEM Grants to entities such as IEA that we utilize to the benefit of our Clients.. Welcome to AFCEA "Blue Angels" Pensacola Chapter | Pensacola Chapter (afceachapters.org) Lunch and Learns: We organize informative sessions led by professionals who cover topics such as dyslexia, autism, coping skills, advocating for children, and motivational speeches. These sessions provide valuable insights and guidance to families. Some examples of those professionals include Inspirational Speakers: We invite successful individuals with learning disabilities to share their stories, providing motivation and inspiration to parents and children. These speakers offer reassurance and demonstrate that hard work can lead to success.
