Job Summary
The Family Greeter/Receptionist will primarily be responsible for providing the Santa Rosa Kids' House (SRKH) client reception services, including but not limited to: face to face and phone reception for clients, ensuring the waiting and reception area is presentable and preparing and implementing special comfort techniques for child victims and their non-offending caregivers. Must pass a background check.
Summary of essential job functions
1. Direct child victims and caregivers to appropriate team members to receive services.
2. Prepare/offer comfort items to guests and caregivers visiting the house (cookies, toys, books).
3. Provide supervision and support for children and families receiving services at the House.
4. Ensure the reception area is orderly and clean before and after guests occupy the area and according to the established schedule, to ensure a calm and safe environment for victims and their families/guardians.
5. Notify SRKH staff of any safety, maintenance or scheduling concerns identified during the shift.
