The Council on Aging inaugural festival KITES ON THE COAST is seeking a few good volunteers to assist with the event. The event will be held on Friday, September 2nd and Saturday, September 3rd at the Pavilion at Pensacola Beach. Volunteers will be needed on Friday from 4 pm until sunset, and on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. Volunteers will be treated to food provided by Hot Spot BBQ, Panera Bread, Krispy Kreme Donuts, and Papa's Pizza. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Farrah Hale at 850.266.2513.

Council on Aging of West Florida's inaugural KITES ON THE COAST event will be two days of intergenerational, high-flying fun on beautiful Casino Beach on Pensacola Beach, on Friday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 3.
The community is invited to celebrate this timeless pastime with kite flying, activities, local vendors, food trucks, and show-stopping demonstrations from Chicago Kite. Presented in partnership with Emerald Coast Kite Flyers Club, proceeds from the event sponsors support the seniors and programs by Council on Aging of West Florida.
